The six-month public art project Venetian Blind opened on May 14 as part of the European Cultural Centre's Personal Structures exhibition, in conjunction with the 58th Venice Biennale.

Curators David Cross and Cameron Bishop were in Venice to install the exhibition materials and provocations at the Palazzo Bembo, and attend the Biennale vernissage events.

The first artists in the project are Patrick Pound, Jondi Keane and Sandy Gibbs, working in the Bembo gallery and around the city until June 9.
